To swiftly respond to changes from the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Coway has developed a smart sales system by combining IT solution knowhow accumulated big data.

This system was developed with the purpose of supporting smart sales activities in the field by combining accumulated internal information for the past 30 years external information by region. Internal information includes Coway&rsquos customer profiles, use status by product category, penetration rate, while external information encompasses population density by region, housing/household status, climate conditions, neighboring facilities.

This system will be offered to whole door-to-door sales workforce. It will help them effectively discover new customers, manage existing customers, carry out various activities. Currently, the company is training the Blue Bird members on this system, plans to exp the scope to whole sales organizations from May.

Organically changing big data are collected in this system regularly, which enables analysis in various perspectives. For example, this system analyzes internal information (air purifier use rate) external information (fine dust density) in a certain region. Figuring out that fine dust density has increased due to construction projects in neighboring areas rental contract for air purifiers also rise, this system identifies whole households which don&rsquot have air purifier in that region.

As for managing existing customers, each branch office offers CODYs coaching services through regular data analysis, then CODYs provide their customers with the data when they regularly visit every two or four months to propose products tailored to changed environment.

Coway expects that the accuracy of analysis results will increase continuously as the volume of accumulated data will be exped as time goes by.
